FA is the result
of many experience gained in
ophthalmic imaging and clinical
practice. This simple to use
software is designed to work
with most current fundus cameras
for the instant capture of
colour, FA and ICG images. In
addition,
EyeCap FA
can be interfaced with other
devices such as slitlamps,
B-Scans, surgical microscopes
and digital cameras to provide a
means to securely manage the
whole ophthalmic imaging
recource for any modern eye care
practice.
Images are captured directly to
the EyeCap database and can be
viewed by various means as they
are acquired providing the
opportunity to maximise
variables such as focus and
exposure. Once saved, the images
can be easily reviewed and
optimised using the
comprehensive image processing
tools that include PDT tools and
overlay. Uniquely, EyeCap stores
a copy of all captured images
on-line and permits the storage
of extremely large volumes of
images on standard computer
hardware. This facility,
combined with a comprehensive
database search and query
function, provides fast-track
access to images from any
patient visit and permits
instant access to the patient’s
complete image history.
Furthermore the vast storage
capacity of EyeCap and
intelligent software design
permit an efficient means of
viewing images over the
department or hospital network.
All images are stored in a
secure environment but can be
easily exported for referral or
teaching and used with other
applications and third party
